Our Solution

Our Approach

By focusing on places, not people

The Collaboration

Role of the Urban League

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis via its Federation of Block Units is seeking continued help from the City of St. Louis community to maintain the St. Louis Public Safety Collaborative (STLPSC), using Data-Informed Community Engagement (DICE) powered by RTMDx software. The goal of the STLPSC is to create community-driven initiatives to reduce both crime and harm in high-risk micro-locations within the City of St. Louis

Office of Violence Prevention

Founded in July 2022, the Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) coordinates public safety resources and community violence intervention programs to make St. Louis neighborhoods safer. Funded in part from the America Rescue Plan, OVP is designed to improve public safety outcomes using data-driven community violence intervention strategies.

Simsi

Simsi provides the analytics platform, training and programming used by local professionals and change agents to diagnose crime patterns, prioritize places in need, and coordinate resources for prevention.

Center for Policing Equity (CPE)

As part of ongoing support, Center for Policing Equity (CPE) provides technical assistance and guidance to support the logistics of launching the Public Safety Collaborative. While this support has been extremely valuable, the goal is to make this project sustainable locally.
